A Tapestry of Tradition: An Elegant Hindu Wedding at Ragley Hall

The Reception

The celebrations continued into the evening with their reception inside Ragley Hall, bringing together speeches, dinner and plenty of energy on the dance floor. The Great Hall provided a completely different atmosphere from the daytime ceremony, allowing the photography to move from bright, colourful moments into something more intimate and atmospheric. Throughout the reception, my focus was on capturing the reactions, laughter and interactions that made the evening feel personal to Anjana and Kyle, while still creating a small number of polished portraits that reflected the elegance of the venue. From the Hindu ceremony through to the evening celebrations, the aim was to create a complete story of the day — a mixture of natural documentary photography, meaningful family moments and editorial portraits that captured both the scale of Ragley Hall and the personality of the couple.

The Ceremony

Anjana and Kyle’s Indian wedding at Ragley Hall was a beautiful celebration of tradition, family and colour. As a Ragley Hall wedding photographer, it is always a pleasure to work at a venue with so much character, from the architecture and gardens to the elegant interiors. Their Hindu ceremony took place surrounded by family and friends, with a beautifully styled mandap by Bandhan Weddings creating the perfect setting for the rituals and vows. The atmosphere throughout the ceremony felt warm and personal, with so many natural moments unfolding between the couple and their families. Alongside the documentary coverage, we also made time for considered portraits around the estate, using Ragley Hall’s grounds and architecture to create images that felt refined without taking them away from the flow of the day.
